Mas-Wrestling Universe International Tournament Regulations

Hide I. General regulations
Competitions are held among foreign students studying in secondary and higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation in order to identify the strongest athletes and include them in national mas-wrestling teams to participate in the IV World Mas-Wrestling Championship on June 21-27, 2022 in the city of Yakutsk, Russia.

Objectives:
− expansion of international student sports relations;
− improving the sports skills of students;
− promotion of physical culture and sports.

II. Time and competition venue
Competitions are held on March 4-6, 2022 in Cheboksary, Russia, in the sports complex of the Chuvash State University named after I.N. Ulyanov at the address: Universitetskaya Street, building 38
Arrival day - March 4, 2022, departure day - March 6, 2022. In case of deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the region, the competition may be rescheduled to a later date.

Competition Program:
March 4 (Friday) - day of arrival
18:00 - 19:00 - meeting of the panel of judges with representatives of the teams
March 5 (Saturday)
09:00-10:00 - Work of the credentials committee and weigh-in of participants:
− men: 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 105 kg, 125 kg, 125+ kg
− women: 55 kg, 65 kg, 75 kg, 85 kg, 85+ kg.
10:00 - 12:30 - preliminary matches
13:00 - 13:30 - opening
14:00 - 16:00 - semi-final and final matches
16:00 - 16:30 - awarding
March 6 (Sunday) - day of departure.

III. Management of event
General management of preparation and conducting of the International Tournament is carried out by the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, All-Russian Mas-Wrestling Federation, World Student League «Mas-wrestling Universe», FSBEI HI «ChSU named after I.N. Ulyanov», SBI of Republic Sakha (Yakutia) «Republican Center of National Sports named after V. Manchaary».
The direct conduct of the competition is entrusted to the Grand Jury, approved by the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

IV. Terms of participation
The following are allowed to participate in the competition:
- students and post-graduate students of any form of education of secondary and higher educational institutions;
- graduates of secondary and higher educational institutions who received a state diploma of education in 2021.

Weight categories:
− men: 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 105 kg, 125 kg, 125+ kg
− women: 55 kg, 65 kg, 75 kg, 85 kg, 85+ kg.
Participants are required to perform in sportswear in accordance with the rules of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

All competitors must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or documents confirming the fact of COVID-19 disease transferred within twelve months in electronic or printed form.

V. Conditions of the competition
Competitions are held in accordance with the Regulations on the organization and holding of official physical culture and sports events on the territory of the Russian Federation under the conditions of continued risks of the spread of COVID-19, approved by the Russian Ministry of Sports and Rospotrebnadzor.
Competitions are held according to the rules of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation according to the direct elimination system after two defeats with division into groups A and B. Depending on the number of participants in the weight categories, changes are possible in the competition system according to the competition rules.
The cost of filing a protest is 500 rubles.

VI. Awarding
Participants who won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each weight category are awarded with medals, diplomas of the corresponding degrees. Winners in weight categories are awarded with cups.

VII. Financing
All fees connected with preparation and conducting carry Organizing Committee at the competition venue, All-Russian Mas-Wrestling Federation, IMWF, «Republican Center of National Sports named after V. Manchaary».
Travel, accommodation, nutrition, insurance and visa expenses of participants, carry sending organizations.

VIII. Applications
The following original documents are submitted to the admission committee:
− application from the team in printed form;
− passport;
− life and health insurance policy;
− student card or gradebook, postgraduate certificate, certified copy of the diploma of graduation in 2021
