2026 Arnold Classic South American Mas-wrestling Absolute Championship

among men and women 

Aims and objectives

2026 Arnold Classic South American Absolute Mas-wrestling Championship (hereinafter the Championship) is the official sporting events of the International Mas-wrestling Federation and is held to promote and develop mas-wrestling in the world and solves the following tasks:

- determination a strongest mas-wrestling athletes;

- improvement of athlete’s sportsmanship;

- strengthening friendly sporting relationship among countries;

- determining the best mas-wrestlers of the continent to participate in the 2026 World Mas-Wrestling Championship in Kazan, Russian Federation. 

Date and venue

The Championship is held on April 23-26 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at the Exhibition Centre «Norte» on address: Rua José Bernardo Pinto, 333 – Vila Guilherme.

Arrival days – April 23-24, departure day – April 26. 

Competition program: *

April 23 (Friday) - arrival day

14:00 – 16:00 – workshops and mas-wrestling presentations.

April 24 (Saturday)

11:00 – 13:00 – work of commission on admission of participants;

14:00 – 16:00 – weigh-in and drawing of participants.

16.30 – 17.30 – meeting of Panel of judges with team representatives.

April 25 (Sunday) – competition day

16:00 – 17:30 – preliminary, semi-final and final bouts

17:30 – 18:00 – awarding ceremony

April 26 (Monday) – departure day

Management

General management of preparation and holding of the Championship is carried out by the International Mas-wrestling Federation, Brazil Mas-wrestling Confederation, State budgetary institution of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) «Republican Center of National Sports named after Vasiliy Manchaary» and Mas-wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-Wrestling".

Direct responsibility of holding the event carried on the Grand Jury, approved by the International Mas-wrestling Federation.

Participants

Allowed to participate athletes of 18 y.o. and over, passed medical examination and permitted to engage in power sports by the application of the National Mas-wrestling Federations or authorized bodies.

Participants are required to perform in sportswear in accordance with the rules of the International Mas-wrestling Federation. 

Conditions for holding competition

Competitions are of a personal nature and are held according to the current rules of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

Depending on the participants number in a weight category, in the competition system changes are possible according to the competition rules:

- for 6 or more athletes in a weight category according to the system with elimination after two defeats, divided into groups "A" and "B";

- for 5, 4 or 3 athletes in a weight category, a round robin system is used; - for 2 or less athletes in a weight category, the weight category si added to the next weight category.

The Championship is held among men (minimum weight - 90 kg) and women (minimum weight - 65 kg). 

The final results (protocols) on paper and electronic form should be given to the International Mas-Wrestling Federation in 2 (two) weeks after the event is over.

Participants grant the organizers the right to photograph, film or otherwise use the voice, appearance and name. Further, the content can be displayed, distributed or otherwise used in merchandising and advertising to promote the sport in any media now known and possible in the future. The rights are granted indefinitely and without additional compensation. 

Insurance

Participation in the competitions is allowed only in case of presence of the insurance of life and health from accidents (original), which to be submitted to commission on registration and admission of participants. Insurance fees of the athletes carry the sending organizations 

Safety

Competitions to be held in sport buildings, agreeable to the standards of corresponding standard rules of law, functioning in the territory of the Brazil and directed to provide public order and safety of participants and spectators, in the presence of acts of operational readiness of sports buildings for the activities, approved in the prescribed order.

Qualified medical personnel should present in the competition venue. 

Financing

All costs connected with the preparation and holding of the competition, under the terms of equity, carry the International Mas-wrestling Federation, Brazil Mas-wrestling Confederation, State budgetary institution of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) «Republican Center of National Sports named after Vasiliy Manchaary» and Mas-wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-Wrestling".

Expenses (travel, accommodation, meals, insurance, registration of entry visas) of athletes, representatives, coaches, referees of the 2026 Arnold Classic South American Absolute Mas-wrestling Championship carry sending organizations. 

Awarding

Absolute Champions to be awarded champion belts, medals, diplomas and valuable prizes. Prize-winners to be awarded with medals, diplomas, and prizes.

Visa

Delegations, which are needed VISA for entrance and stay on the territory of Brazil, should submit until March 1, 2026 to the organizer for VISA a list of participants with their full name, gender, passport numbers (as well as date of issuance and expiration date), date of birth, scanned copy of the first informative page of their passports. 

Applications

Preliminary applications with the obligatory indication of the number of athletes, coaches, and representatives are submitted until April, 2026 on address:

- International Mas-wrestling Federation: tomskayalena@gmail.com;

- Brazil Mas-wrestling Confederation: Vilmaroliveira_urso@hotmail.com 

The application for registration and admission of participants to the competition is submitted by applications signed by the head of the national federation and the doctor, as well as the following documents for each athlete:

- passport, certifying the nationality of the participant or a representing country’s residence permit;

- life and health insurance policy against accidents (original). 

Marketing and advertising

The Organizing Committee guarantees maintenance of Sponsor rights by the partners and sponsors of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, appointed in the appropriate Agreements as well as basic principles of marketing of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation. 

Media

The Organizing Committee guarantees accordance of the appropriate conditions of work on the event for accredited media representatives in accordance with the Statement of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation on Mass-Media. 

This Regulation is the official challenge to the competition.
