Arnold Sport Festival is waiting for mas-wrestlers of the world

The Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival in the United States of America takes place in late February and early March at the same place. It is held annually in the city of Columbus, Ohio and attracts tens of thousands of fans of different sports.

This year, the world's largest multisports event will bring together 22,000 athletes fr om 60 countries to compete in 80 sports and events from February 28 to March 3.

We are pleased to announce that mas-wrestling is included in the official program of the festival for the fifth time. The event director is Mr. Odd Haugen, Vice President of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

The event will be held in the format of the international tournament MAS ROGUE® Arnold Classic Cup at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

The preliminary fights will take place on March 1 at the Concourse Stage, and the finals will take place on March 2 at the Arnold Fitness EXPO Stage.

Weight categories:

- men: up to 85 kg, up to 105 kg and absolute;

- women: up to 70 kg and over 70 kg.

We remind that anyone can take part in these competitions on the recommendation of the national mas-wrestling federation. Participants are required to go through the mandatory pre-registration procedure.

We inform that mas-wrestlers from the following countries of the world - Azerbaijan, Armenia, Benin, Canada, Finland, Hungary, Georgia, Germany, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Uzbekistan and various states of the United States submitted applications for participation. 

A series of international mas-wrestling tournaments within the Arnold Sport Festival will be picked up by Australia and then South America.

On March 15 - 17 for the second time in Melbourne, mas-wrestling competitions will be held as part of the Arnold Sport Festival Australia.

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center these days will gather mas-wrestlers from several states of the green continent and the countries of Oceania. They will compete in three male and two female weight categories.

On April 12-14, continental mas-wrestling competitions will be held for the fourth time within the framework of the Arnold Sport Festival South America in Brazil.

Competitions will be held at the Transamerica Expo Center in Sao Paulo in the following weight categories:

- men: up to 60 kg, up to 70 kg, up to 80 kg, up to 90 kg, up to 105 kg, up to 125 kg and over 125 kg;

- women - up to 55 kg, up to 65 kg, up to 75 kg, up to 85 kg and over 85 kg.

By the way, Brazil is a visa-free country for Russians. Those who cannot overcome visa barriers and get to previous competitions will be able to freely go to this country, wh ere mas-wrestlers of Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia and Pakistan are ready to compete.
