Mas-Wrestling competition among women was held in Kabul, Afghanistan
We recall that the Afghanistan Mas-Wrestling Federation was established on June 6, 2018 and was formally accepted and recognized by Afghanistan National Olympic Committee (ANOC) and General Directorate of Sports and Physical Education of Afghanistan after a democratic election.

Dr. Abdul Rahman Hameed, General Secretary of the Afghanistan Mas-Wrestling Federation informed us that in Kabul was held a Mas-Wrestling competition among women.
“This federation had a formal invitation and a formal trip to the 3rd Nomad Games in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan with 5 members of the team on September 2-8, 2018. It was the first time that Afghanistan Mas-Wrestling Federation took part in an international competition.
The federation got the financial support from NOC Afghanistan and now we claim that we are able to conduct men and women competitions in our country.
According to our schedule to conducting competitions, on April 10th to 11th, 2021 in Kabul City we had our third Mas-Wrestling Competition among women.
There were 150 athletes from different parts of Afghanistan.
The competition was held in 5 weight categories: up to 55 kg; up to 65 kg; up to 75 kg; up to 85 kg; +85 kg.
The strongest participants, who took first places, were selected for the national Mas-Wrestling team.
The event was financially supported by the president of the Afghanistan Mas-Wrestling Federation Mr. Noorulhoda Raastin Sherzad.
The Federation will also hold a competition among men in the city of Kabul and will provide an official report to the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.
The Federation is ready to submit women's and men's teams at the upcoming international competitions.”
