Competition Regulations of the International Union of Public Associations "International Mas-Wrestling Federation" to create a logo (emblem-symbol) of the World Mas-Wrestling Day

1. General regulation

1.1. The competition for the best logo (emblem-symbol) of the "World Mas-Wrestling Day" (hereinafter the Competition) is held among all comers.

1.2. Logo - the original outline of the full or abbreviated name. An emblem is a conditional image of an idea in a drawing, to which one or another meaning is assigned. A symbol is a conventional sign, an image of the main ideas.

1.3. The competition is aimed at identifying creative ideas and forms for the World Mas-Wrestling Day, attracting the International Mas-Wrestling Federation to the process of creating a positive social image.

2. Objectives of the competition

The purpose of the Competition is to determine the best project of a logo (emblem-symbol) in a symbolic form reflecting the meaning of the "World Mas-Wrestling Day" and intended for further use as a logo (symbolism).

3. Competitors

Participants in the competition can be professional and amateur people and other groups, creative groups, unions, educational institutions and individual specialists, as well as other organizations.

4. Terms of the competition

The competition is held in two stages: First stage - from January 1 to March 1, 2022. All works submitted to the competition as part of the First stage are presented for review by members of the expert commission. The second stage of the competition - from April 1 to May 1, 2022 - an expert commission selects the best works to sel ect and approve the final artistic solution and determine the winner. If none of the submitted works meet the requirements and criteria of the Competition, the commission has the right to make a decision on the extension of the Competition.

5. Content and organization of work

5.1. Anyone can take part in the Competition. When developing a draft logo (emblem-symbol), the author (s) should be guided by the tasks facing the IMWF:

• Attracting attention to mas-wrestling and its propaganda;

• Formation of a stable positive image of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

5.2. For the competition, a project is submitted, completed individually or by a group of people.

5.3. When developing a project, the author (s) must strive for an understandable, expressive, concise and original embodiment of the idea.

5.4. The project should be developed taking into account its further implementation in various materials and techniques.

5.5. It is recommended to avoid a lot of small details and use a simple color palette.

5.6. The project must be accompanied by a description and author's interpretation of the symbolic meaning.

5.7. It is not allowed to include in the project a logo (emblem-symbol) images of logos, emblems (or their fragments), slogans of events or other organizations, state symbols.

5.8. Assessment criteria:

• artistic level of work performance;

• expressiveness and depth of reflection of the goals of the IMWF;

• ease of perception;

• laconicism of pictorial techniques;

• originality of the graphic solution;

• manufacturability and ease of replication;

• creativity.

6. Materials for the Competition are provided:

6.1. a) An electronic drawing in black and white and color solutions with a size of at least 3000 px on the long side and in a resolution of 300 dpi in * JPG format should be sent to the address:

b) Description with the author's interpretation of the meaning of its symbols;

c) Information sheet containing information about the participant of the Competition: last name, first name, middle name, place of residence, contact information (mobile phone, e-mail).

6.2. If the work is done by a team of authors, the application contains information about each member of the creative team.

6.3. Responsibility for the observance of the copyright of the work participating in the Competition is borne by the participant who sent this work to the Competition.

6.4. By submitting their work to the Competition, the authors automatically give the organizers of the Competition the right to use the submitted material (posting on the Internet, in printed publications, booklets, at exhibition stands, etc.).

6.5. The winner is obliged to submit the original work in CorelDRAW format to the competition committee.

6.6. The winner, if necessary, gets the right to revise the variant submitted for the Competition.

6.7. Competition materials drawn up in accordance with the requirements of this regulation must be submitted by May 1, 2022.

7. Summing up

The best logo design (emblem-symbol) is declared the official emblem of the "World Mas-Wrestling Day". The winner is determined by the jury of the competition. The winner of the Competition will be awarded with cash prizes of $ 1000 and a Certificate of Merit. Participants of the Competition are awarded with Diplomas.

8. Jury of the competition

The Organizer of the Competition approves the composition of the Competition jury. The jury consists of representatives of the Organizer and Partners, as well as invited independent experts.

The jury evaluates the submitted works of each participant of the Competition, determines the winners and prize-winners of the Competition.
