I. Aims and objectives

International mas-wrestling tournament «Cup of JSC Railways of Yakutia» (hereinafter Cup) is held to develop mas-wrestling in the world and solves the following tasks:

- strengthening friendly sporting relationship among countries;

- determination the strongest mas-wrestling athletes. 

II. Date and venue

The Cup is held on September 1-5, 2026 as part of the sports program of the 11th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Primorskiy Krai, Russia, on address: Russkiy Island, Exhibition “Far East Street”, territory of the pavilion of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

September 1 (Tuesday) – participant’s arrival day

17.00 – team presentations, weighing and drawing of lots

September 2 (Wednesday) – competition day

10.00 – 12.00 – bouts

14.00 – 14.30 – opening ceremony

15.00 – 17.00 – bouts

17.30 – awarding ceremony

September 3 (Thursday) – additional activities

September 4 (Friday) – departure day.

III. Management

General management of preparation and holding of Cup is carried out by the International Mas-wrestling Federation, JSC Railways of Yakutia, SBI RS(Y) "Republican Center for National Sports named after. V. Manchaary ", Mas-wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-wrestling" and Sports Directorate of the Roscongress Foundation.

Direct responsibility of holding the competitions carried on the Grand Jury, approved by the International Mas-wrestling Federation. 

IV. Participation terms

Athletes from Mongolia and Russia are participating by personal invitation, passed medical examination and permitted to engage in power sports.

The competitions are of a team format and are held according to the current International Mas-wrestling Rules. The teams consist of seven athletes (5 men and 2 women). Team names are the responsibility of the organizers.

Weight categories:

- men 90 kg – 3 athletes;

- men 90+ kg – 2 athletes;

- women 75 kg – 2 athletes. 

V. Competition format. Determination of the winning team.

Team meetings are conducted in a "wall-to-wall" system.

Positions are allocated based on the points scored. A win earns 1 point, while a loss earns 0 points. In the event of a tie in points between two or more teams, their rankings are determined by the following criteria:

- results of mutual encounters (when determining the ranks of two teams);

- the quality of all matches, measured by the difference between all wins and all losses (the greater the difference, the higher the rank);

- the total weight of the teams during weigh-in (the lower the weight, the higher the rank). 

VI. Awarding

The team-winner to be awarded the cup, medals and prizes.

The prize-winner team to be awarded medals and prizes. 

VII. Financing

All costs connected with the preparation and holding of competition carry the Joint Stock Company Railways of Yakutia and International Mas-wrestling Federation.

For targeted financing, JSC Railways of Yakutia enters into a sponsorship agreement with the Mas-wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-wrestling". 

VIII. Safety

Competitions to be held in sport buildings, agreeable to the standards of corresponding standard rules of law, functioning in the territory of the Russian Federation and directed to provide public order and safety of participants and spectators, subject to the existence of documents confirming the readiness of sports facilities for hosting events, approved in the prescribed manner. 

IX. Insurance

Participation in the competitions is allowed only in case of presence a life and health insurance policy against accidents (original) for each person. Insurance fees of the athletes carry the sending organizations.
