Seven countries had officially confirmed their participation at the 1st National sports Festival and CIS countries Games

"In daily basis we contacted with the Ministry of Sports of the CIS countries and handled the application of national teams. Even now we felt huge interest in our sport event. For example, the Kazakh team consists of more than 120 people. In the region, on August is expected to arrive no less than 500 athletes, Ulyanovsk residents and guests will be waiting for a real celebration of national sport and culture, "- commented Minister of physical culture and sports of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Kuzmin.

In mas-wrestling at first was interested athletes from Kazakhstan, what is more, were all twelve weight categories. Also Armenian colleagues confirmed their participation. We hope, that other national federations will be interested in the near future too.

The Russian team will be made up in such a way, that the weight categories will be represented by athletes from different Russian regions. Coaching Council decides to support consideration of the most active regional Mas-Wrestling Federations.

We remind you, that the Festival is open and in competitions on mas-wrestling can participate athletes from all countries - members of the IMWF.
