Mas-wrestling brought athletes from 42 countries from all over the world in Saudi Arabia

09.03.2019
Tomorrow on March 10 in the deserted area, 2 hours driving from the capital of Saudi Arabia, will take place the biggest Mas-wrestling World Absolute Championship.

The competition will be held within the international 2019 EthnoFestival Nomad Universe from 9 to 19 March during King Abdul Aziz Camel Festival.

Commission for participants registration has finished their work. According to the rules of championship there have to be just one athlete from each country. 42 athletes were allowed to participate. Throughout the history of mas-wrestling development in the world it is a record for competitions in this category.

For a better picture of mas-wrestling’s mission in uniting nations, athletes and their coaches came to the commission in traditional clothes of their countries. We wouldn’t make our numerous readers to wait and we will release the results of the draw:

Conditions of such a level competition are not very comfortable. Every participant has long distance flights. Despite the warm weather, gusty sandy wind will bother the athletes. In the morning and in the evening it is pretty cold in the desert.

Today all of the participants have spent preliminary bouts with each other and are set to show their abilities. Prize pool should be divided between prize winners. Before, only first prize winner was going to get it.

Tomorrow we will see who is the best in World Mas-wrestling. Good luck, everyone!
