Sports delegation from Mongolia arrived in Yakutsk

A sports delegation from Mongolia, including the heads of the Mongolian Mas-Wrestling Federation and leading athletes of the country, arrived in the capital of Yakutia.
Their visit was made possible by a personal invitation fr om the President of the Mas-Wrestling Federation of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Anatoly Baishev. As a friendly gesture, he offered Mongolian athletes to undergo training camp in his new gym before the upcoming World Championship.
Yesterday, the delegation crossed the Lena River on an air cushion boat and arrived in Nizhny Bestyakh, wh ere they were met by Anatoly Baishev. Fr om there, he accompanied the guests to the village of Amga, wh ere they will stay until June 2.
Anatoly provides athletes with free accommodation and training using his own method. On the first day, an introductory training session was held. The coach assessed the level of physical fitness of the Mongolian athletes, noted their desire for development and strong motivation to win. The athletes are ready to follow his strict recommendations and achieve success in their favorite sport.
On May 24, the day of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the delegation will have the opportunity to relax. The athletes will attend traditional horse races to get to know the culture of Yakutia better. And on May 30-31, Ysyakh Madyiny, a national holiday, will take place in Amga, within the framework of which a tournament of absolute champions of the Amga Ulus in mas-wrestling will be held. For Mongolian athletes, this will be the first test in a confrontation with the strongest Yakut mas-wrestling masters.
The participation of foreign athletes will give the competition the status of an international tournament, which will be an important step in strengthening sports ties between the countries.
