Turkish Airlines Ethnosport Day 2026: Strengthening Team Spirit Through Ethnoports.

On 12 October 2026, The Turkish Airlines Ethnosport Day 2026, an innovative initiative celebrating ethnosports, teamwork, and cultural exchange, was organised at the Turkish Airlines Dhaka Office under the initiative of Mr. İslam Güre, General Manager of Turkish Airlines in Bangladesh, bringing together officials and staff members of the airline for an engaging experience with traditional sports and games.

The programme featured ethnosports & games promoted by the International Ethnosport Bangladesh Association (IEBA), offering participants an opportunity to experience the richness of ethnosport traditions in an enjoyable and interactive setting. Beyond recreation, the initiative reflected the potential of ethnosports to strengthen interpersonal relationships, encourage active lifestyles, and foster cultural appreciation in the modern corporate world.

The event was also a meaningful example of sports diplomacy and Bangladesh–Türkiye friendship. As a leading international airline with strong connections between countries and cultures, Turkish Airlines has a distinctive platform for promoting intercultural understanding and people-to-people engagement. Initiatives such as this demonstrate how traditional sports can serve as a bridge between cultural heritage, professional cooperation, and international friendship.

The programme was attended by Md. Al Mamun, President of the International Ethnosport Bangladesh Association; Md. Ekramul Kabir, Vice President of IEBA and Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Bangladesh; and Md. Mainul Hasan, Executive Member of IEBA and Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Land, Bangladesh.
