Preparations for the Mas-wrestling World Championship discussed in Tatarstan

21.10.2026 Today, the Ministry of Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation of the Mas-wrestling World Championship, which will be held from November 26 to 30, 2026, in Kazan.
The meeting was attended by Khalil Shaikhutdinov, First Deputy Minister of Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan; Gennady Vasilyev, First Vice President of the All-Russian Mas-wrestling Federation and General Director of the Vasily Manchaary Republican Center of National Sports;
Ivan Sivtsev, the executive director of the All-Russian Mas-wrestling Federation, along with representatives of the sports community, participated in the meeting.
Key issues of preparation and conduct of the upcoming international competitions were discussed during the meeting.
The Mas-wrestling World Championship in Kazan will be a real celebration of strength, skill, and sporting unity, bringing together the strongest mas-wrestlers from around the world and opening new horizons for the development of the national sport of the Sakha people!
