Vitaly Danilov from Yakutia became the Champion of the United States of America

“I had four bouts and won all of them. I felt outstanding emotions from the Championship. Mas-Wrestling skills of the American athletes getting better day by day. They easily make our best tricks”, - Vitaly commented for “YSIA”.

The Championship was held as part of “The FitExpo” in California. The organizer is the President of the Mas-Wrestling USA, competitor of the World Championship Mr. Odd Haugen, who promotes Yakutian Martial Art in the whole continent. The Championship was held in the age category of adults – men and women.

Vitaly assisted as a referee on the first day of the event, and then went out on the platform to compete as an athlete in weight category up to 80 kg. He took four bouts against American “majyny” (from Yakut language – “giant”, “knight”) and became a winner.

Martins Licis proved his title of the Absolute Champion of the USA in super heavyweight category. And he will maintain his title and represent the country in Mas-Wrestling World Absolute Championship to be held on March 2-6 in Columbus (Ohio).
