The calm before the storm

The Commission for the admission of participants in the European Mas-Wrestling Championship in the absolute category has completed its work.

The Chief Referee Arnis Rukmanis (Latvia) and the chef secretary Arnold Mokhov (Russia) have announced that all the declared athletes were successfully registered, weighed and admitted to the competition.

The mood of the organizers, the judges and all the athletes is excellent. The atmosphere of friendship and good strength, is in the air, as we always have in competitions. The right mood today was set by the president of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation Alexander Akimov and the honorary president of the Latvian Mas-Wrestling Federation Vitaly Dubovs. During the presentation events, they themselves sat down on the board and have held a friendly fight.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is not very comforting - it’s expected to rain. But does this scare the big people, who have been gathered here to compete in mental and physical strength? But does this scare the big people who have gathered together to compete by the strength of their spirit and their heroic might? All rivals are worthy - strong and prepared. Tomorrow will win the one who will be sustained and will be able to faithfully build his tactical battle. We look forward to meeting the strongest European mas-wrestlers on the Riga platform!
