REGULATIONS
on holding International Mas-wrestling tournament for the prizes of the
Honored Coach of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Ramatov

1. Aims and objectives.
International Mas-wrestling tournament for the prizes of the Honored Coach of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Ramatov is the official sport event of the International Mas-wrestling Federation and is held to promote and develop mas-wrestling in the world and solves the following tasks:
- determination the strongest mas-wrestling athletes;
- improvement of athletes sportsmanship;
- strengthening friendly sporting relationship among countries.

2. Date and venue.
Competitions are held on May 21-25, 2026 in Karakol city at the address: 10, N. Aitmatov Str., health and fitness complex. Arrival days – May 21-22, departure days – May 24-25.
May 22, 15.00-18.00 – mandate commission, weigh-in and drawing of participants.
Competitions starts on May 23 at 10.00. Opening ceremony at 12.00.

3. Management.
General management of preparation and holding of tournament is carried out by the International Mas-wrestling Federation, Mas-wrestling Federation of Kyrgyz Republic, Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Issyk-Kul Region Physical Culture and Sports Department of Karakol.
Direct responsibility of holding the competitions carried on the Organizing Committee on holding and preparation the tournament and Ground Jury, approved by the International Mas-wrestling Federation.

4. Participation terms.
Allowed to participate athletes engaged in mas-wrestling not less than 6 months, passed medical examination and permitted to engage in power sports by the application of the National Mas-Wrestling Federations or authorized bodies.
The first team of the Kyrgyz Republic is not allowed to participate in the Tournament.

Participants must wear athletic attire in accordance with the rules of the International Mas-wrestling Federation. Men must wear shorts (tight or loose-fitting) in red or blue (as determined by lot). Women must wear shorts (tight or loose-fitting) and a sports vest (T-shirt, top) in red or blue (as determined by lot). Mixing the red and blue colors of the vest and shorts is prohibited.

5. Conditions for holding competitions and determination of winners.
Championship is held according to the current International Mas-wrestling Rules.
Depending on the number of participants in the weight categories, in the competition system changes are possible according to the competition rules:
− for 7 or more athletes in the weight category according to the system with elimination after two defeats, divided into groups "A" and "B";
− for 6, 5, 4 or 3 athletes in a weight category, a round robin system is used;
− for 2 and 1 athletes in a weight category, the weight category is added to the next weight category.
Competitions are of a personal-team nature and is held in the following weight categories:
- boys and girls under 18
- men and women aged 18 and over
Age is determined by the athlete's birthday. For junior athletes, the athlete must be 18 years old or older and not competing in competitions by that date. For adults, the athlete must be 18 years old or older.

Weight categories:
- boys – up to 55 kg, up to 65 kg, up to 75 kg, 75+ kg;
- girls – up to 50 kg, up to 60 kg, up to 70 kg, 70+ kg.
- men – 65 kg, -75kg, 90kg, 90+ kg.
- women – 55 kg, -65 kg, 75kg, 75+ kg.
The team total is displayed by points for the total number of medals: 1st place – 12 points, 2nd place – 8 points, 3rd place – 5 points. During the competition, a lottery will be held using the athletes' draw numbers.
The final results (protocols) on paper and electronic form should be given in 2 (two) weeks after the sports event is over.

6. Awarding.
Top three athletes in each weight category to be awarded with medals and diplomas and money prizes.
Amount:
Boys:
I place – 10 000 som;
II place – 7000 som;
III place - 4000 som.
Adults:
I place – 20 000 som;
II place - 15 000 som;
III place - 10 000 som.
The men's and women's winners will be awarded championship belts.
Top three team to be awarded with diplomas and cups.
Category winners will receive valuable prizes.
Lottery winners will be awarded valuable prizes.

7. Financing.
All costs connected with the preparation and holding of tournament, under the terms of the equity, carry the International Mas-wrestling Federation, Mas-wrestling Federation of Kyrgyz Republic, Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Issyk-Kul Region Physical Culture and Sports Department of Karakol, sponsors and personal contributions.
The host organization will cover the costs of transfers from Bishkek International Airport and Karakol to the competition venue and back, as well as accommodation and three meals a day.
The Karakol Youth Sports School will provide the sports and recreation center for the competition and medical personnel.
Transportation, travel allowances, and other expenses related to participation will be covered by the sending organizations.

8.Appeal.
In controversial moments during a bout, a protest is filed immediately by a second, rolling a die. The review and decision are conducted before the end of the current bout by the Chief Referee or Deputy Chief Referee.
A protest may be filed by a team representative (coach) due to what they believe to be a violation of the rules during the refereeing of the bout.

9. Applications.

Participants must provide an identity document to the Mandate Committee. Participants without a passport must submit a birth certificate and a certificate from their place of study, with a photo and date of birth.
Nominal applications in the prescribed form must be submitted to the Mandate Committee on the day of arrival. Handwritten applications or applications without a doctor's stamp will not be accepted.

Visa.
Delegations of countries that require a visa to stay in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic must send a list of participants to the organizers by April 1, 2026, indicating their full names, gender, passport numbers with the date of issue and expiration date, dates of birth, and a scanned copy of the first information page of the passport.

10. Marketing and advertising.
The Organizing Committee guarantees maintenance of Sponsor rights by the partners and sponsors of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, appointed in the appropriate Agreements.

This Regulation is the official challenge to the competition.
