Mas-Wrestling in the Central African Republic

The Interim Minister of Arts, Tourism and Culture Aline Pana participated on Saturday February 27, 2021 in the launch of the competition in the different disciplines of Mas-wrestling and athletic strength organized by the Central African Federation of Bodybuilding Fitness, Break dance,Athletic Strength and Bodybuilding at the 20,000-seat Stadium in Bangui.
This competition takes place as part of the consolidation of peace and unity with young people, through the arts in the Central African Republic. The objective is to introduce this discipline to young people, to transmit the values ​​to them and to encourage them to take part in the various competitions in this discipline. It is about motivating them to win, to be efficient in what they do and to be competitive to carry high tomorrow the torch of the RCA during the games, at the sub-regional and international level. 

The end of the competition was marked by the presentation of trophies and certificates to the various winners of the various disciplines. 

The athletes are motivated and even Gendarmes and young girls practice this discipline. An appeal is launched to support this young federation which lacks resources. 

We salute all the players in the sports movement of the capital city of Bangui and resource people who have contributed to the success of this great sporting event. 

Our Coach and promoter of Mas-wrestling Mr Legrand Koliko who brought us to the discovery of a new sport discipline Yakustk member of the Mas Wrestling in Africa community and the International Mas-wrestling Federation (IMWF). 

We leave a solemn appeal to IMWF to help us in the context of training and retraining so that the Central African Republic in particular and the other precursor countries such as Benin, Madagascar, Nigeria, Ghana etc. truly take part in the IMWF meetings.
