on holding Asian Mas-Wrestling Championship

in the absolute weight category among men and women

Aims and objectives

The Asian Mas-Wrestling Championship in the absolute weight category among men and women 2022 is the official sporting event of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation and is held to promote and develop Mas-Wrestling in the world and solves the following tasks:

- determination the strongest athletes of Asia in the absolute weight category.

- improvement of sportsmanship of athletes;

- strengthening friendly sporting relationship among countries.

Date and venue

The Asian Mas-Wrestling Championship in the absolute weight category among men and women 2022 is held on May 27-30, 2022 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

Arrival day – May 27, 2022, departure day – May 30, 2022.

Competition Program:*

May 27 (Friday) - arrival day.

10.00 – 12.00 – Commission on registration and admission of participants;

16.30 – 17.30 –     Meeting of Panel of judges with team representatives.

May 28 (Saturday)

17.00-18.00 – weigh-in and drawing of participants;

May 29 (Sunday) – competition day.

16.00-18.00 – preliminary, repechage and final matches:

May 30 (Monday) – departure day.

*Changes are possible in the Program.

Management

General management of preparation and holding of Asian Mas-Wrestling Championship in the absolute weight category among men and women 2022 is carried out by the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, Federation of Bodybuilding, Fitness and Mas-Wrestling of the Republic of Uzbekistan, State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) «Republican Center of National Sports named after Vasily Manchaary» and Mas-Wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-Wrestling".

Direct responsibility of holding the event carried on the Grand Jury, approved by the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

Participants

Allowed to participate men and women over the age of 18 (age determines on the very day of competition), passed medical examination and permitted to engage in power sports by the application of the National Mas-Wrestling Federations, as well as with a negative result of testing for a new coronavirus infection COVID-19 by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) not earlier than two calendar days before the start of the competition or a certificate of vaccination against a new coronavirus infection COVID-19.

*Changes are possible in terms of participation

The National Federations are entitled to be represented up to 3 (three) athletes in each weight category. National Mas-Wrestling Federation of Uzbekistan as the host country is given the right to nominate up to 4 (four) athletes in each weight category.

National federations are recommended to include in their delegation 1 (one) referee of the corresponding referee’s category of to work as part of the judging panel of the competition.

Participants are required to perform in sportswear in accordance with the rules of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

Applications

Preliminary applications with the obligatory indication of the number of athletes, coaches, and representatives are submitted until May 15, 2022:

The application for registration and admission of participants to the competition is submitted by applications signed by the head of the national federation and the doctor, as well as the following documents for each athlete:

- passport;

- life and health insurance policy against accidents (original);

- certificate of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing;

- document on vaccination against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19.

Visa

Delegations, which are needed VISA for entrance and stay on the territory of Uzbekistan, should submit to the organizer for VISA a list of participants with their full name, gender, passport numbers (as well as date of issuance and expiration date), date of birth, scanned copy of the first informative page of their passports.

Conditions for holding competition

Competitions are of a personal nature and are held according to the current rules of International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

Depending on the number of participants in the weight categories in the competition system, changes are possible according to the competition rules:

- for 6 or more athletes in the weight category according to the system with elimination after two defeats, divided into groups "A" and "B";

- for 5, 4 or 3 athletes in a weight category, a round robin system is used;

- for 2 or less athletes in a weight category, the weight category is added to the next weight category.

Weight categories:

- men – absolute weight category (minimum weight 90 kg);

- women – absolute weight category (minimum weight 75 kg).

Participants grant the organizers the right to photograph, film or otherwise use the voice, appearance and name. Further, the content can be displayed, distributed or otherwise used in merchandising and advertising to promote the sport in any media now known and possible in the future. The rights are granted indefinitely and without additional compensation.

The final results (protocols) on paper and electronic form should be given to the International Mas-Wrestling Federation in 2 (two) weeks after the event is over.

Insurance

Participation in the competitions is allowed only in case of presence of the insurance of life and health from accidents (original), which is submitted to the commission for registration and admission of participants.

Insurance fees of the athletes carry the sending organizations.

Safety

Competitions to be held in sport buildings, agreeable to the standards of corresponding standard rules of law, functioning in the territory of Uzbekistan and directed to provide public order and safety of participants and spectators, in the presence of acts of operational readiness of sports buildings for the activities, approved in the prescribed order.

Qualified medical personnel should present in the competition venue.

Financing

All costs connected with the preparation and holding of the competition, under the terms of the equity, carry the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, Federation of Bodybuilding, Fitness and Mas-Wrestling of the Republic of Uzbekistan, State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) «Republican Center of National Sports named after V. Manchaary» and Mas-Wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-Wrestling".

The costs of sending participants (athletes, representatives, coaches, referees) of the Asian Mas-Wrestling Championship among men and women in 2022 (travel, accommodation, meals, insurance, visa costs) are carry by the sending organizations.

Awarding

Top three athletes in each weight category to be awarded with medals, diplomas, and valuable prize.

Marketing and advertising

The Organizing Committee guarantees maintenance of Sponsor rights by the partners and sponsors of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, appointed in the appropriate Agreements as well as basic principles of marketing of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

Media

The Organizing Committee guarantees accordance of the appropriate conditions of work on the event for accredited media representatives in accordance with the Statement of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation on Mass-Media.

This regulation is the official challenge to the competition.
