REGULATIONS Open European Championship Mas-Wrestling World Cup: II stage 1. Aims and objectives Competitions are held with the aim to popularize and develop Mas-wrestling in the world and have the following objectives: - strengthening friendly sportive relationship among countries; - determination the strongest sportsmen. 2. Time and venue Competitions are held from 22 to 25 of October, 2015 in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia. Arrival day, mandate commission and weigh-in are held at 22 of October. Departure day is 25 of October. 3. Management of event General management of preparation and conducting of the Open European Championship (Mas-Wrestling World Cup: II stage) lies on International Mas-Wrestling Federation, Mas-Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Armenia and Organizing Committee of the venue. Direct responsibility of conducting the event carried by Organizing Committee and Ground Jury, confirmed by IMWF. 4. Participants - allowed to participate athletes of national teams by application of the national federations or authorized organizations; - up to 3 athletes have the right to set from national mas-wrestling federations; - the organizing country have the right to set up to 5 athletes in each weight category; - allowed to participate athletes aged of 18 (age determines on the very day of competition); - athletes passed medical examination and permitted to engage in power sports; Necessarily form of participants: Men – special sport tights for Mas-Wrestling (red and blue), sport shoes without spikes, gaiters are allowed but no higher of knees; Women – special sport tights for Mas-Wrestling (red and blue), sport singlet or top, sport shoes without spikes, gaiters are allowed but no higher of knees. Allowed to use: - special belts of a width not exceeding 10 cm; - knee pads and elbow pads are manufactured with a length not exceeding 30 cm; - handhelds; (The rules of IMWF, http://mas-wrestling.org/, page 5) 5. Conditions of conducting of competition: Competitions are individual and conduct according to actual rules of IMWF. - 8 or more athletes in one weight category by the system of direct elimination with consolatory bouts with finalists; - 7 or 6 athletes in one weight category by the system of elimination after 2 (two) defeats; - 3 or 4 athletes in one weight category by circle system; - 2 or less athletes in one weight category join to the following higher weight category; Weight categories: Men – 60 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 105 kg, 125 kg, over 125 kg. Women – 55 kg, 65 kg, 75 kg, 85 kg, over 85 kg. 6. Awarding Winners and prize-winners on each weight category gain diplomas, medals and money prizes. In weight categories with more than 8 athletes shall be two 3rd places. 7. Financing All fees connected with preparation and conducting of the Open European Championship carry IMWF, Mas-Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Armenia and Organizing Committee of the venue under conditions of partnership. Travel, accommodation and nutrition expenses of participants, coaches and representatives carry sending organization. 8. Nominal claims are to be given to the Mandate Commission on the day of arrival. Participant must show passport and original insurance of accident. Insurance fees lie on sending organization.
