on holding the IV World Mas-Wrestling Championship, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Yakut ASSR

Aims and objectives

The aim is popularization and development of Mas-Wrestling in the world. Objectives:

−  strengthening friendly relationship among countries;

−  determination the strongest athletes in the world.

Date and venue

Competitions are held on June 21-27, 2022 in Yakutsk, Russia on address: Oyunskogo street, 26, Sports Training Center «Triumph».

Arrival day – June 21, 2022, departure days – June 25-27, 2022.

Competition Program:

June 21 (Tuesday) – arrival day

June 22 (Wednesday)

12.00 – 16.00 - Commission on registration and admission;

16.00 – 18.00 – Weigh-in and drawing of participants:

- men 60 kg, 80 kg, 105 kg, 125 kg, 125+ kg;

- women 75 kg, 85 kg, 85+ kg;

18.00-19.00 – meeting of Panel of judges with coaches and team representatives.

June 23 (Thursday) – first day of competitions

10.00 – start of competitions;

15.00-15.30 – opening ceremony

16.00-18.00 – weigh-in and drawing of participants:

- men 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 90 kg;

- women 55 kg, 65 kg;

June 24 (Friday) – second day of competitions

10.00 – start of competitions;

June 25-27 – departure days

*Changes are possible in the Program.

Management

General management of preparation and holding of the Championship is carried out by the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, All-Russian Mas- Wrestling Federation, Ministry of Sport of Russian Federation, Government of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia), State budgetary institution of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) «Republican Center of National Sports named after Vasily Manchaary» and Mas-Wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-Wrestling".

Direct responsibility of holding the event carried on the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the IV World Mas-Wrestling Championship and the Grand Jury, approved by the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

Participants

Allowed to participate athletes aged of 18 and over (age determines on the very day of competition), passed medical examination and permitted to engage in power sports by the application of the National Mas-Wrestling Federations or authorized bodies.

The National Federations are entitled to be represented up to 14 (fourteen) athletes, no more than 3 (three) athlete in each weight category.

The All-Russian Mas-Wrestling Federation can enter up to 14 (fourteen) athletes, no more than 1 (one) athlete in each weight category.

Team stuff 17 members: 14 athletes, 1 coach, 1 team representative and 1 referee.

Participants grant the organizers the right to photograph, film or otherwise use the voice, appearance and name. Further, the content can be displayed, distributed or otherwise used in merchandising and advertising to promote the sport in any media now known and possible in the future. The rights are granted indefinitely and without additional compensation.

Insurance

Participation in the competitions is allowed only in case of presence of the insurance of life and health from accidents (original).

Insurance fees of the athletes carry the sending organizations.

Conditions for holding an individual-team competition

Competitions are of a personal-team nature and are held according to the current rules of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

Weight categories:

- men: 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 105 kg, 125 kg and 125+ kg; 

- women: 55 kg, 65 kg, 75 kg, 85 kg and 85+ kg.

The final results (protocols) on paper and electronic form should be given to the International Mas-Wrestling Federation in 2 (two) weeks after the event is over.

Determinations of winners:

The team total is displayed by points for the total number of medals:
1st place – 12 points, 2nd place – 8 points, 3rd place – 5 points.
In case of equal points among two or more team, priority is determined by most number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. places.

Awarding

Top three athletes in each weight category to be awarded with medals, diplomas, and valuable prize.

Top three team to be awarded with diplomas and cups.

Competition Requirements

Competitions to be held in sport buildings, agreeable to the standards of corresponding standard rules of law, functioning in the territory of the Russian

Federation and directed to provide public order and safety of participants and spectators, in the presence of acts of operational readiness of sports buildings for the activities, approved in the prescribed order.

Qualified medical personnel should present in the competition venue.

Competitors are required to adhere to the generally accepted norms of social distancing in crowded places and comply with the requirements of the Regulations for the organization and holding of official physical culture and sports events in the Russian Federation in the conditions of continued risks of the spread of COVID-19. Representatives of national teams must provide their athletes with personal protective equipment and disinfectants.

Financing

All costs connected with the preparation and holding of the competition, under the terms of the equity , carry the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, All- Russian Mas-Wrestling Federation, Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, Government of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia), State

Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) «Republican Center of National Sports named after V. Manchaary» and the Foundation for the Promotion of the Development of National Sports of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Mas-Wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-Wrestling".

Travel expenses of 4 (four) athletes, 1 (one) coach and 1 (one) representative of the participating country on routes in the territory of the Russian Federation to Yakutsk and back are covered by the Organizing Comettee for the preparation and holding IV World Mas- Wrestling Championship.

The number of quotas for covering travel expenses on routes in the Russian Federation to Yakutsk and back may change depending on the number of people declared in the delegations of participating countries.

Travel expenses of the Presidium members of International Mas-Wrestling Federation along the route from their place of residence to the city of Yakutsk and back are covered by the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the IV Mas-Wrestling World Championship.

Expenses for registration of entry visas, accommodation and meals carry sending organizations.

Visa

Delegations, which are needed VISA for entrance and stay on the territory of Russian Federation, should submit until May 1, 2022 to the organizer for VISA a list of participants with their full name, gender, passport numbers (as well as date of issuance and expiration date), date of birth, scanned copy of the first informative page of their passports.

Applications

Preliminary applications with the obligatory indication of the number of athletes, coaches, referees and representatives are submitted until May 1, 2022:

The application for registration and admission of participants to the competition is submitted by applications signed by the head of the national federation and the doctor, as well as the following documents for each athlete:

- document certifying the citizenship of participant;

- life and health insurance policy against accidents (original);

- document on vaccination against the new coronavirus infection COVID- 19.

Marketing and advertising

The Organizing Committee guarantees maintenance of Sponsor rights by the partners and sponsors of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, appointed in the appropriate Agreements as well as basic principles of marketing of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

Media

The Organizing Committee guarantees accordance of the appropriate conditions of work on the event for accredited media representatives in accordance with the Statement of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation on Mass-Media.

This regulation is the official challenge to the competition.
