2. Competition management
The general management of the preparation and holding of the Mas-Wrestling World Cup: III (final) stage is carried out by the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, Mas-Wrestling Federation of Finland with the participation of the Mas-Wrestling Planet Mas-Wrestling Development Fund.
The direct conduct of the competition is entrusted to the Grand Jury, approved by the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.
3. Terms of participation
Men and women aged 18 or elder are allowed to participate in the competitions by the National Mas-Wrestling Federation application, passed medical examination and permitted to engage in power sports, also with a negative test result for the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 by the polymerase method chain reaction (PCR) not earlier than three calendar days before the start of the competition of each participant or a certificate of vaccination against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19.

National Mas-wrestling Federations have the right to nominate up to 42 (forty-two) athletes to participate in competitions, the All-Russian Mas-Wrestling Federation - up to 28 (twenty-eight) athletes.
Participants are required to perform in sports clothes in accordance with the rules of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation:
- men - shorts for mas-wrestling (tight-fitting or loose fit, up to or below the knees) of an established IMWF pattern, red or blue (by lot);
- women – mas-wrestling shorts and a sports t-shirt, top or t-shirt with long sleeves, an IMWF-installed red or blue pattern (by lot). It is prohibited to mix blue and red t-shirts and shorts.
- competitors must compete in sports shoes with a soft sole without spikes. It is prohibited to use shoes with heels, with a sole, lined with nails, buckles or other metal, plastic and pointed elements.
In order to prevent sports injuries, the use of the following personal attributes is allowed:
- elastic bandages not wider than 25 cm;
- special belts with a width of not more than 10 cm, while the weight of the belt should not exceed 1.5 kg;
- knee pads and elbow pads with a width of no more than 30 cm.
- handhelds that are not larger than the width and height of the athlete's palm, while using any foreign liquid substances for the treatment of handhelds;
- sports taping;
- means without adhesive properties in the form of powders (magnesia, rosin), liquid magnesia.
National Mas-Wrestling teams must wear uniform clothing. To participate in the parade and awarding ceremony, athletes and representatives of delegations must have ceremonial sportswear and state flags.
For unsportsmanlike behavior, any participant can be removed from the competition by decision of the Grand Jury.
4. Applications for participation
Preliminary applications with the obligatory indication of the number of athletes, coaches, referees and representatives are submitted until December 1, 2021:

The application for registration and admission of participants to the competition is submitted by applications signed by the head of the national federation and the doctor, as well as the following documents for each athlete:
- passport;
- life and health insurance policy against accidents (original);
- polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing reference;
- document on vaccination against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19.
5. Visa
Delegations of countries that need a visa to stay in Finland should send a list of participants to the organizers in advance, no later than November 20, 2021, indicating full names, gender, passport numbers (also their dates of issue and validity), dates of birth, scanned copy of the first informative page passports.
6. Conditions of the competition
Competitions are personal in nature and are held according to the rules of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.
Depending on the number of participants in the weight categories in the system of the competition, changes are possible according to the rules of the competition:
- for 6 or more athletes in the weight category according to the system with elimination after two defeats, with division into groups “A” and “B”;
- for 5, 4 or 3 athletes in the weight category a circular system is applied;
- for 2 or less athletes in the weight category, the weight category joins the next weight category.
III (final) stage of the 2021 Mas-Wrestling World Cup will be held in following weight categories:
- Men: 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 105 kg, 125 kg, 125+ kg;
- Women: 55 kg, 65 kg, 75 kg, 85 kg, 85+ kg.
The points for the III (final) stage of the Mas-Wrestling World Cup 2021 are awarded according to the following system:
1st place - 16 points;
2nd place - 12 points;
3rd place - 10 points;
4th place - 9 points;
5th place - 8 points;
6th place - 7 points;
7th place - 6 points;
8th place - 5 points;
9th place - 4 points;
10th place - 3 points;
11th place - 2 points;
12th place and subsequent places - 1 point.
The final protocols are submitted to the International Mas-Wrestling Federation within two weeks from the date of the end of the competition.
The winner of the 2021 Mas-Wrestling World Cup is determined in each weight category by the highest number of all 3 stages.
In case of equal points among two or more participants, priority is determined by most number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. places.
According to the International Mas-Wrestling Rules a paid protest procedure is established at the III (final) stage of the 2021 Mas-Wrestling World Cup. The amount of money for filing a protest will be determined at a meeting of judges on the eve of the competition.
7. Insurance
Participation in the competitions is allowed only in case of presence of the insurance of life and health from accidents (original) for each athlete, which is given to the Registration and Admission Commission. Insurance fees of the athletes carry the sending organizations.
8. Safety
Competitions to be held in sport buildings, agreeable to the standards of corresponding standard rules of law, functioning in the territory of Finland and directed to provide public order and safety of participants and spectators, in the presence of acts of operational readiness of sports buildings for the activities, approved in the prescribed order.
Qualified medical personnel should present in the competition venue.
9. Sanitary and Epidemiological Requirements
Representatives of national teams must provide their athletes with masks, gloves, disinfectants. Everyone should maintain a social distance of at least 1.5 m in public places.
10. Financing
The expenses for the preparation and holding of competitions under the terms of the equity, carry the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, the State Budgetary Institution of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Republican Center for National Sports named after V. Manchaary, Mas-Wrestling Federation of Finland, Planet Mas-Wrestling Mas-Wrestling Development Fund and the Organizing Committee at the venue.
The travel expenses of the competitors and judges (travel, accommodation, meals, insurance, visa expenses) are borne by the sending organizations.
11. Awarding
Participants who took 1st, 2nd and two 3rd places in weight categories will be awarded with diplomas, medals and mementos.
Athletes, from 1st to 6th places in each weight category in the overall standings of Mas-Wrestling World Cup 2021 will be awarded prize.
Participants who did not participate in the final stage of the World Cup are not awarded according to the results of all stages of the Mas-Wrestling World Cup 2021.
12. Marketing and advertising
The Organizing Committee guarantees maintenance of Sponsor rights by the partners and sponsors of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, appointed in the appropriate Agreements as well as basic principles of marketing of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.
13. Media
The Organizing Committee guarantees accordance of the appropriate conditions of work on the event for accredited media representatives in accordance with the Statement of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation on Mass-Media.
